MARK P. MOSTERT, Ph.DSenior Researcher at Able Americans

Mark Mostert, Ph.D., is senior researcher at Able Americans, former Regent University professor, disability policy consultant, and opera enthusiast. He lives in Virginia Beach and enjoys opera and classical music.

BARBARA FARLOWPatient Safety Advocate

Barbara is a patient safety advocate and member of Patients for Patient Safety Canada. After the loss of her daughter Annie, born with Trisomy 13, she has worked to raise awareness about hospital safety, patient rights, and the importance of asking critical questions in healthcare.

LIA MILOUSSIS Human Rights Lawyer

Lia Milousis is a human rights lawyer, motivational speaker, and author of An Inconvenient Life . A University of Ottawa graduate in Women’s Studies, Political Science, and law (JD, Social Justice), she began her activism at age 12. Lia advocates against abortion, euthanasia, and human trafficking.
